Abstract:
To find the relationship between the meteorological factors and the yield and quality of sorghum, the partial thin plate smoothing splines(TPS) was used to interpolate air temperature, precipitation and sunshine duration at the spatial resolution by 100m×100m in 2008 from Renhuai and around counties meteorological stations, which covered 127 sites with altitude from 370 to1301m of the sorghum planting for Maotai Liquor in Renhuai. The results showed that temperature and sunshine had a high correlation with the yield after 10-40d of full heading stage(FHS) and that precipitation are closely related to the yield from 50d preceding FHS to 40d after FHS.The coefficient of correlation between the two factors and yield passed 95% confident level. The precipitation and sunshine duration had negatively affected to the tannin content significantly preceding 20
50d FHS.The results also showed that meteorological elements variation had not any affected to protein contents in sorghum.
